Bruno, from the Résidence le Passage, is also a beekeeper. The twenty or so hives that he has been raising since 2018 ensure a production of some 550 kg of all-flower honey per harvest, and this 2 to 3 times a year. Smart information: bees were brought to Polynesia by priests in the early 18th century, who used their wax for candles. Over the centuries, they have become acclimatized and other species have since arrived, notably from America and New Zealand.
