Exceptional Gastronomy
Our choice of restaurants is as varied as it is refined:
- Otemanu: In the morning, international and Polynesian buffet breakfast, and in the evening, a semi-gastronomic à la carte dinner that fuses local produce with the expertise of our chefs.
- Miki Miki: From 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., this casual poolside restaurant invites you to enjoy international and local cuisine all day long in a relaxing setting.
- Le Poerava: Bora Bora's best-kept secret; for some, the best restaurant in Polynesia. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 6.30pm, it offers an exceptional culinary experience. We strongly advise you to book in advance to guarantee your table.
- Le Uaina Bar: Open from 5:00 pm, this wine bar offers a wide selection of wines and cocktails. Enjoy our sushi and tapas specialties in an elegant atmosphere.
- Le Manuia Bar: Open daily and ideally located by the pool, this bar is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails while admiring the marvellous view of Mount Otemanu.
Commitment to the environment
We take great care with the environment: solar panels are installed on all bungalow roofs, and the shuttles transporting guests run on solar and eclectic energy. This approach aims to minimize our ecological impact while offering a luxurious experience.
Celebrating Polynesian Art
Our hotel elegantly celebrates the richness of Polynesian art and culture. We offer a unique collection of artworks by Tahitian artists, showcasing our country's talent and creativity.
Enchanted Gardens
The hotel's gardens, a labyrinth of greenery dedicated to art and relaxation, are divided into three areas: a landscaped garden, then, beyond a monumental gate, a semi-wild park combining art, dreams and primal nature. They invite serene, enchanting exploration. The third space, "Fa'aapu", our traditional vegetable garden, is where we grow herbs, vanilla, salads and a variety of vegetables.

Having said that there are a few things that will help manage your expectations for a better time. If I were the general manager here, these are some of the things that I would try to work on.
1. Don’t expect the best service at the restaurants. Some of this might be cultural and I am coming from a North American experience. But in general you only have about a 50% probability of any request being fulfilled. So as long as you are patient, you’ll be fine. Some staff are absolutely great and remember everything.
2. The greetings at restaurants are unusual. Often times there will be several hostesses there. But they seem to be working on anything other than greeting guests. Which one would think is their primary purpose. We have several times come to a restaurant and the person continues to work on some paperwork and doesn’t even make eye contact and tells us that they will get to us when they’re ready. That’s pretty rough. Again, maybe cultural, though we haven’t experienced that at other resorts. In particular, Kelly has been pretty rough at Miki Miki..
3. They do nickel-and-dime a little bit here (which you wouldn’t expect given how expensive the rooms are). It is offputting when they are clearly trying to upsell on bottled water and don’t give an option for tapwater. When you ask for tapwater they sometimes take a long time to bring it, or sometimes don’t bring it at all. It is sometimes easier just to bring your own.
4. The hotel still uses single use plastic bottles for shampoo, etc. I’m sure they’re working on this but in 2024 it stands out a little.
5. The heat and UV is very high so I try and do things first thing outdoors in the morning or closer to sunset. It would be better if the paddle boards and kayaks would be available a little later, as opposed to closing by 5 PM which is over an hour and a half before sunset. I think it should be open a little later. Or not close at all. Maybe there are other reasons that I’m not aware of of why they close earlier.
