The Aotera guesthouse is a true haven of peace, located on a secluded motu some fifteen kilometers west of Avatoru. A true end-of-the-world establishment, it offers a unique experience with 10 bungalows (6 with lagoon views, 4 with lake views), where change of scenery, calm and freedom are the watchwords. Several excursions are available, to the nearby blue lagoon or to the Avaiti pass. Don't forget your headlamp on the way home, and don't forget to look up at the sky: the stars shine here like nowhere else.
