Strange raised coral concretion located 5 km north of the village, this 2.30 m high block of coral limestone, reminiscent of the shape of a mushroom, is said to have a mystical power acting on turtles. It was once said that if a cloud with the same shape as this rock passed over the channel during the day, the turtles would come out of the water at nightfall to lay their eggs on the beach. A godsend for the inhabitants, who then only had to chase them away...
