Jérôme, from the Pukue'e pension, is the only officially certified guide on the island (with insurance and everything you need). It proposes excursions in 4x4 and on foot of course. Among the proposed outings, the ferry is a must, but other routes are also to be discovered, such as the Pic de Poumaka in particular, a loop of 4 to 5 hours in the valley of Hakahetau for walkers a little more knowledgeable. Frequent hikers, do not hesitate to ask for an estimate for itineraries lasting several days. E-bike rental available recently.
