GALERY HIVA OA

Held by the owners of Make Make Car Rental, this gallery exhibits the works of artists from all the Marquesas. Sculptures in wood, bone, stone, bamboo, jewellery, pyrography and other tapa by Fatuiva are particularly in the spotlight. We also sell silk-screened Paul Gauguin or Marquesas Islands mugs, as well as artisanal and organic dried bananas of very good quality. Hereitii, a committed vegan, also sells good take-away food; she also gives yoga classes to adults (advice to amateurs!) and English classes to the children of the village.
