Sado is the name of the river, whose estuary is here. Arrábida is the name of the small mountain range that can be seen, opposite, to the west of Setúbal. Sado Arrábida is specialized in nature tourism, both on land and at sea. If the main activity remains the visit to the colony of bottlenose dolphins that live here, the operator also offers motorized rides (jeep, motorcycle and even 2CV!), birdwatching tours and sunset cruises with tasting of wine, seafood or cold cuts from the region.
