In the heart of Tigzirt, the charming ruins of Omnium offer a superb view of the sea and the port. Excavated in the late 19th and mid-20th centuries, the remains show traces of the ancient cobbled streets and two lines of ramparts built by the Romans and then the Byzantines. Highlights include the 2nd-century barracks, the 3rd-century temple to the city's patron Genius, the baths, where a mosaic was found, and the large Christian Basilica.
