SANTA BARBARA ISLAND
Tiny island of beauty of 2,6 km2 ideal to practise nautical activities, sheltering numerous varieties of animals.
A tiny, beautiful island of 2.6 km2, it was formed by underwater volcanic activity thousands of years ago. Santa Barbara Island is home to a wide variety of animals, from elephant seals to seabirds. The island is mostly cliffs: in fact, you have to climb a ladder to reach the jetty from the boat. In addition to hiking, the island is very popular for water-based activities such as kayaking, snorkelling and diving - but its rather rough waters are not supervised.
