Restaurant offering daily dishes that smell like home cooking in Chamesson.
Christine and Jérôme Menarello, who have been living in Chamesson for more than 7 years, have created a restaurant at Le St Roch, a meeting place around their bar and services in their grocery store that we could no longer do without. The life of the village of Chamesson passes by the St Roch, where you can meet up for a coffee or an aperitif for a citizen exchange. We notice that regulars and tourists in season stop here for lunch or dinner or on weekends in the evening. Not everything is homemade, it's not a secret, but everything is of high quality, the dishes of the day smell like home cooking, while the evening pizzas to take away have found their fans. Christine in the kitchen and at the service with Jérôme are full of kindness and sincerity, perhaps that is also their secret. Our advice, start by offering yourself a glass or a bottle of Crémant du Châtillonnais, you will be put in condition. The most of the house, the grocery store with bread adjoining the restaurant, you will find many local products such as cheeses and yoghurts from Origny sur Seine or organic lentils from Sainte-Colombe-sur-Seine. This Seine, which passes through the heart of the village, is charming.
