This adorable family lives just a few minutes from the port. You'll be staying with Osvaldo and Mathilde, in a traditional adobe house with simple rooms (outdoor bathrooms) and an incredible view of the lake. Meals are home-cooked with lots of local vegetables and tubers. Contact (in Spanish) Saul, the Puno-based son who can help you find the boat, or Osvaldo, who lives on the island all year round. Small flower garden. Of course, from June to September the nights are cold, but the warm welcome makes up for it.
