It is the Munay association that manages everything and the families receive you according to a system of rotation between them. Note that few tours stop to sleep here, they almost all go to Amantani and only come back for lunch. You will have almost the whole island to yourself outside of this tourist peak. Small simple houses, outside bathrooms. Some families have opened hostels and you can apply for more comfortable accommodation. Visit the agency once in Puno. Remote reservations are not very reliable.
