LA CHOZA DE LA ANACONDA
For years, this wooden platform along the Malecón has been serving traditional dishes (paiche, doncella, smoked pork, fried bananas and manioc, hearts of palm) with music and a festive atmosphere on weekends. The menu has been enriched with Creole and maritime dishes, and the atmosphere is enhanced by a DJ or live bands with singers and often dancers on certain weekends, and a small swimming pool. Locals come here to party or with their families. Curious travellers come to sample the flavours and rhythms of the Amazon.
