A campsite with an excellent location and a unique landscape with a beautiful view of Pico and Faial in Calheta.
The site, by the sea, is superb, as is often the case in the archipelago. Camping Calheta has an excellent location and a unique landscape with a beautiful view of Pico and Faial. The ocean is 30 metres away, just like a natural swimming pool, ideal if you want to dive. On site: sanitary facilities, rental of camping equipment. We'll regret that there's no barbecue. A very good choice for a small budget and outdoor activities!

Amazing place to camp. Has electricity, hot water and it's only 4€ for a night. Sunsets and sunrises are amazing here as well with an amazing view to Pico Island.

Prachtige plek, fijne camping met wasmachine en kookgelegenheid. Het rotsbad in zee is een fantastische snorkelplek. Vanaf de camping mooi uitzicht over zee, dolfijnen langs zien zwemmen. Er is wat schaduw, de tenten staan vrij dicht op elkaar.

Very nice place, lack of shadow for tent (small trees). Loud music from the bar ruins the magical view of mount pico. Bar is quite expensive and not that good. Bathroom were ok with hot water and paper towels. Laundry machine available and kitchen in a decent state. Overall, a good place to camp.
