MUSEO CASA PUEBLO
Casa Pueblo is a community self-management project that was born in 1980 when the government of Puerto Rico wanted to launch an operation to extract 17 deposits of silver, gold and copper. It aims to value and protect the local natural, cultural and human resources. An old house was acquired, dedicated to become the main headquarters of the organization as well as an independent cultural and community center. Restored over time, it now includes (among other things) an exhibition hall, a library, and a handicraft store.
