This unusual, massive, half-submerged rock, accessible by 4 x 4, located at Coffee Bay, is perfect for a pleasant outing.
"The hole in the wall": we reach this unusual place on foot along the beach, it's nicer than by 4x4 and the walk is quite short. It is a massive rock which advances in the water and which has... a huge hole in the middle, half submerged. The sound of the waves echoes in this chamber to such an extent that the Xhosa call the place iKhaleni, "the noisy place". The view of this large grass-covered rock, like a natural bridge over the water, is magnificent. A nice idea for an outing between a tourist attraction and a nice walk on the beach.
