Galerie Herbert-Fort is dedicated to contemporary French art and crafts. Situated in the heart of Châteauneuf, one of France's most beautiful villages, you'll discover the works of emerging and established artists: oil and watercolor paintings, sculptures, bronzes, ceramics and blown glass, as well as art embroidery jewelry. The Gallery's permanent artists alternate with guest artists for exhibitions that change every 6 weeks or so. Follow the gallery on social networks for news!

We were fortunate to be able to take a nice vacation in Burgundy, France, and we stumbled into Sophie West’s gallery in the Chateau de Châteauneuf. It has a broad range of artists and styles, but one specific piece caught the eye of both me and my wife. Sadly, it was slightly larger than the wall space we had in mind, but we took Sophie’s contact information “just in case.” Back in the States, we just couldn’t get that piece of art out of our head, so we reached out to Sophie to see if we could find a similar piece or collaborate with the artist to create one that would work for us. Long, pleasant story short, Sophie and the artist worked with us across the pond via lots of email and pictures to supply us the perfect piece for our home, with no risk to us. Sophie was diligent in ensuring the art made it through the shipping process, having to poke FedEx when they stumbled, and she was in touch with us the entire time. Even though we had met briefly in her gallery, we felt like we were old friends by the time all was said and done. We would highly recommend using her site to find something “close,” and then to work with her to see if she can meet your needs. Sophie will try her best to deliver!

Très jolie galerie, présentation et artistes de qualité. Je recommande ce lieu où l'on peut trouver des objets et bijoux uniques, fait avec le coeur par des artisans talentueux.

L'accueil chaleureux de Sophie, la diversité et la qualité des collections qu'elle choisit avec soin parmi des artisans.es d'art de talent, sont autant de bonnes raisons pour moi de "monter" régulièrement à Châteauneuf ! N'hésitez pas, des splendeurs vous y attendent ????

Sophie nous reçoit avec un grand professionnalisme. Elle nous transporte dans l’univers de l’artiste. En véritable technicienne, elle nous susurre les techniques propres à chacun des artisans. Elle présente de magnifiques aquarelles en ce moment. Elles montrent la lumière, on y sent la chaleur, les odeurs. Le peintre sculpte le vide. Les bijoux sont de pures merveilles. Ils sont brodés et très légers. Sophie nous transporte dans un univers magique avec de vrais créations. Je vous conseille de vous y rendre pour les fêtes de Noël, votre bonheur s’y trouve pour faire un cadeau de qualité et de dernière minute.
