COMMUNAUTÉ DE COMMUNES DU PAYS CHÂTILLONNAIS
Discover the Pays Châtillonnais, a dynamic region comprising 107 communes and 4 distinct sectors.
Chaired by Jérémy Brigand, the Communauté de Communes of the Châtillonnais region brings together 107 communes, including the 6 cantons of Aignay-le-Duc, Baigneux-les-Juifs, Châtillon-sur-Seine, Laignes, Montigny-sur-Aube and Recey-sur-Ource, which now form the one and only canton of Châtillon-sur-Seine. This communauté de communes covers an area of 1,900 km² and has more than 21,000 inhabitants, grouping together four major sectors identifiable by their relief: the Langrois plateau, the Champenois, the Tonnerrois and the Valley. Within the framework of its competences, the Communauté de Communes ensures the promotion and the development of this territory at the economic, tourist and environmental level, in order to offer a favourable quality of life to all the actors whether they are inhabitants, companies or visitors. Several actions have been carried out with the aim of "revitalising the Châtillonnais". In the tourist context, the Communauté de Communes has set up a Pass with the aim of facilitating access to six major sites which are the must-see attractions of the Châtillonnais region. A rate package thanks to which visitors will be able to benefit, on the basis of a full-price entry in one of the sites, from a reduced rate in the 5 other sites. For more information, visitors can contact the Châtillon-sur-Seine tourist office.
