ST. JOHN'S CHURCH
This church was built from a chapel that belonged to a wealthy merchant. The edifice is built in 1551. It is the result of the generous act of the city's middle class citizen. Inside, the window which features the tree of Jesse - as in the Saint-Nicolas church - dates from the 16th century. The choir was renovated at the beginning of the 17th century. The altar which is there, is a Louis XIII style masterpiece. Sculptures of sainte Anne, the Virgin, and a pityful Christ decorate the collaterals. Outside, powerful paring arches support the church, and you will find on the portal some typical features of the flambloyant Gothic.
