MAUPITI VILLAGE
Accommodation with a festive atmosphere in Tiapa'a.
Just off Kuriri, on a small motu lost in the blue, this address offers 3 charming bungalows facing the reef on the ocean side, with private sanitary facilities and water (slightly cool to wake you up!). Simple but effective comfort, and a view to die for. On the program: fishing, kayaking and snorkeling equipment for your adventurous desires. A festive atmosphere is guaranteed with ukulele evenings, while Audine and her daughter Poe welcome you with their inimitable Polynesian charm. On the menu: local delicacies, boat excursions and even a bike ride around the island!

Everything was very clean, neat and modern considering the remoteness of their home.
But truly outstanding was the food! Françoise prepared several dishes for us each meal and there was always more than enough, even for our one year old.
Françoise and Robert started this business just 5 months ago but they have been living here for many years, Robert is also originally from Maupiti. It was wonderful talking to them during our meals together! Françoise makes you feel at home and is very charming, Robert is more the quiet but very kindhearted guy.
They offer tours to the manta rays which I recommend and there is a small path to the beach. It is a bit rocky there but great for snorkeling!
Thank you for having us!
We have the same summer " surclassées" no extra charge! Odine is an excellent chef and the whole family is very friendly! The meal with all the boarders as well as the owners in the fare pal is a moment of conviviality and exchange! The setting is superb, you can go to admire the sunset on the other side of the island to 200 feet... a very good address!
all small problem: do not have privacy problem with the person who shares your bungalow because there is no door bathroom! lol; -)
Obviously is a 5 star hotel, it is a pension, including all Maupiti, is a little isolated on the motus!
But what a welcome! The prices are decent.
