Jérôme Hoechstetter and Deborah Lichtlé have taken over this legendary address and are now bringing it a welcome breath of fresh air. Jérôme, who used to be a butcher, gives pride of place to meats on the menu. He knows how to sublimate them like no one else, and doesn't hesitate to offer precious advice on how to best appreciate them. Those who prefer something else can rest assured: we've thought of them just as well. Whether you come for lunch or dinner, you'll always find the same pleasant, warm atmosphere, and Deborah's smile is a big part of it.

The Caveau des Seigneurs restaurant promises an authentic culinary experience in the heart of Alsace, in Hattstatt. For a decade, Déborah and Jérôme have been delighting your palate with their "Au fumé de chez nous" brand, an itinerant business that travels the surrounding villages, markets and local festivals. They took over the establishment in July 2023 to offer you more than just a meal, with a cuisine that evolves with the seasons and new arrivals. They offer a daily menu and weekend suggestions, focusing on the best natural, fresh produce from local producers and hunters. Here, every meal is a celebration of the region's flavors and culture. You can, for example, have veal cordon-bleu with cream, tarte flambée or prime rib. You'll also have the chance to sample one of the house specialties, the Lord's three-meat fondue. This hunter's feast offers a composition of wild meats such as fallow deer, wild boar and roe deer, with a portion of 250 grams per person. This gastronomic journey will transport you to the heart of the Hardt forest. An exceptional address for fine dining in Alsace!
