EL MERCADO
El Mercado can be a good lunch break during a walk. This modern covered market, in the center of Bayamón, gathers a set of various kiosks (handicrafts, typical Puerto Rican "sweets", hats and cigars, souvenirs) and a restaurant that is unanimously appreciated by the locals: Doña Ana. On the menu, authentic Puerto Rican cuisine that delights the regulars. People even come here on weekends to listen to "old crooners". The musical animations take place on Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm and on Saturday from 2 pm to 6 pm.
