The beautiful historic building (1907), which was once the city hall, courthouse and hospital, has been home to the Francisco Oller Museum of Art (MAFO) since 1979. The museum makes education through the arts its leitmotif. It has seven exhibition rooms and an interior patio where educational workshops are held. In addition to the works of the famous Puerto Rican artist, Francisco Oller, the permanent collection presents the works of other renowned Puerto Rican artists: Consuelo Gotay, María Emilia Samoza, Rafael Tufiño, Tomás Batista.
