Loznica is a unique, friendly town in western Serbia, at the foot of the Gučevo mountains, on the right bank of the Drina River. With around 80,000 inhabitants spread over an area of 612 km2, Loznica is the center of nature, economy, traffic, culture and tourism in this part of the Podrinje region. The people of Loznica are hospitable, devoted to their hometown and proud of their history. They are careful to preserve tradition and culture, speaking the purest Serbian language and using the Cyrillic alphabet. The town offers high-quality drinking water, numerous springs and streams, and two thermal spas with natural mineral and sulfur springs. Tourism is a mainstay of the city's development, with the focus on cultural and historical heritage, spas, mountains and rivers.
