GRIZZLY LAKE
A long, challenging hike and the most popular in the park, following the ridge to Grizzly Lake and its valley.
This 23 km hike begins with the trail to the viewpoint on Mount Monolith and continues along the ridge to Grizzly Lake and its valley. This is the most popular long hike in the park and a camping permit must be reserved to ensure you have a spot if you wish to stay overnight at Grizzly Lake. It is important to be well prepared for this fairly challenging hike (allow 8 hours). There are several day hikes (Twin Lakes - 6 km and Divide Lake - 12 km) available on site before heading back.
