The impressive size of the Pressoirs of the Dukes of Burgundy bears witness to the greatness of the vineyard
The impressive size of the presses of the Dukes of Burgundy alone testifies to the grandeur of the vineyard, which today covers 65 hectares. They are, with those of Clos Vougeot, the largest and oldest in the region. Built around 1400, under the reign of John the Fearless, they have been listed in the supplementary inventory of historical monuments since 1934. They can be visited by appointment and are open during the summer.
