One of the biggest gastronomic events in the interior. Lively tastings around the famous chouriça.
The Festa das Chouriças takes place in the village of Querença. The event, celebrated in honour of São Luís, starts at the Casa do Povo with a night of fado. The next day the stars of the fiesta arrive and the scent of grilled chorizo perfumes the village. A religious celebration will be followed by the solemn procession. In honour of the saint, it is time to auction off the sausages, one of the highlights of the fiesta, which will end with a popular ball to the sound of the accordion.
