In the shadow of the beautiful bell tower of Chiaravalle Abbey, this country bistro has been playing the same music since 1890. Five generations of the same family have succeeded one another, offering traditional regional recipes in a family atmosphere. With portraits of monks from the abbey inside and a pergola with wisteria outside, the setting has all the makings of a "Sunday meal". The plates, simple and copious, smell of the cuisine of yesteryear, where risotto follows fried vegetables and precedes chops or roast chicken.
