NORTHWEST ARCTIC HERITAGE CENTER
The center that welcomes visitors throughout the year in Kobuk valley national Park
This is the center that welcomes visitors to Kobuk Valley National Park throughout the year. As is often the case, there are no roads or marked trails in the park, which is known for its sled dog activities. The park is known for its dog sledding activities and can be reached either by air from Nome and Kotzebue, or on foot and therefore by organized excursions. It is also located near another park, The Gates of the Arctic National Park and Preserve, which can be combined.
