The famous Danish sculptor Thorvaldsen worked in this Dutch Baroque castle.
A fine example of Danish Baroque architecture built in the 17th and 18th centuries. This bright yellow building has been inhabited by the same family since 1739. Its furnishings are also original. Also designed by the architect Krieger, the magnificent wooded park is terraced on the steep slopes of the Kornerup valley, with alternating fountains and sculptures. Completely renovated in 2004-2006, it is open to the public. Beautiful views over the valley.
