The largest freshwater aquarium in Northern Europe is nestled in the bottom of one of Silkeborg's lakes! Life can be seen dry in these pure waters through wide openings. Temporary exhibitions on environmental research. Around the lake and the aquarium, do not hesitate to take the time to walk around the 10 000 m ² of wood and water: There are salamanders, birds, frogs, many aquatic plants from the whole kingdom, but also river otters.
