Buses to Colonia Tirolesa leave from Córdoba, from the new bus station, from 5 a.m. onwards, then there's about one bus an hour (5.50 a.m., 6.30 a.m., 7.50 a.m., etc.) until 11.15 p.m. in the evening.
Tickets can be purchased at ticket office number 78 and cost around US$3 to get to Colonia Caroya. Allow an hour and a half for the journey. This is a bit long, as the bus serves Santa Elena, Colonia Tirolesa, Colonia Caroya and Jesús María. For those who want to get off the beaten track, there are other stops in small villages.
