From Vientiane, take road no. 13. At km 90, you will drive on a dirt road towards the village of Ban Hatkhai from which you will be able to access the reserve. It is here that you will be able to hire the services of a local guide who will lead you to the falls on a very interesting trek. The waterfall, 3 meters high, is unusual. The water has carved cavities in the rock, creating depth effects and giving the impression that more than one waterfall is flowing. It is a popular picnic spot for locals.
