IGLESIA DE LA ASUNCIÓN
Gothic church in Uterga preserving the facade of the episodes of the childhood of Jesus on the capital
Preceded by a portico, this sixteenth-century Gothic church preserves episodes from the infancy of Jesus on the capital of the façade. In the past, a hospice for pilgrims was located here, which functioned for several centuries until the middle of the 19th century. Today only the apse of the church remains. The whole has been very well restored in respect of its original construction and the square that borders it is a good place to take a break. While you are there, enjoy the beautiful view of the valley and the surrounding hills.
