IGLESIA DE SAN PEDRO
Primitive church of neoclassical construction in Mañeru with a baroque bell tower
Neoclassical construction from the end of the 18th century which preserves elements of the primitive church, dated from the 16th century. Built of ashlar, the church has a unique Latin cross plan with a wide transept covered by a round vault with lantern. The main altarpiece was made in 1930 by the artist Arrieta on a neo-classical model. Other relics and sculptures are worthy of note. The tower is divided into two parts: the lower one dates from the 16th century, while the baroque bell tower was added in the 18th century.
