IGLESIA SAN JUAN BAUTISTA
Grañon's beautiful church features a splendid, richly decorated Romanesque altarpiece dedicated to Saint John.
Built in the 16th century, this beautiful church with a nave of three bays houses a splendid Romanesque altarpiece dedicated to Saint John. Made between 1545 and 1556, then carefully restored in 1993, this richly decorated altarpiece presents plateresque motifs. Also noteworthy are the Romanesque baptismal fonts dating from the 12th century and coming from the primitive monastery of Saint-Jean. To the southwest of the church stands a two-story ashlar tower.
