ALBERGUE SAN JUAN DE ORTEGA
Hostel that is organized around a beautiful cloister with a total of 70 places in San Juan De Ortega
Founded in the th century to welcome pilgrims, this hostel is a true institution of the Compostelle. From the original hospice, there is nothing left. The current hostel dates back to the 70 th century and is organized around a beautiful cloister with a total of places. At 18 p. m., we witness the mass and blessings of pilgrims. The tradition of serving garlic soup in pilgrims - introduced by Father José María Alonso Marroquín (died in 2008) - continues today.
