IGLESIA DE SAN LORENZO
A remarkable Mudejar Romanesque church in Sahagun.
This Mudejar Romanesque church, whose construction began in the 12th century, stands in the heart of the old center of the medina and the Jewish quarter, where the northern and eastern sections of the wall bordering Sahagún meet. Built of brick, it has three naves separated by lancet arches and a fourteenth-century tower that rises above the apse. The latter narrows as it rises. In the chapel of Jesús, adjacent to the church, the floats that are paraded during Holy Week are kept.
