MUSEO ETNOGRÁFICO PROVINCIAL DE LEÓN
Ethnographic Museum, illustrating the richness of the traditions of the province of León, in the old convent of San Agustín.
This ethnographic museum is housed in the former convent of San Agustín. With a collection of 7,000 pieces spread over three floors, the museum illustrates the richness of the traditions of the province of León, with a special focus on the Compostela pilgrimage in the region. The building itself is a work of art, as it preserves the remains of the convent: the Renaissance façade of the church, the mortuary chapel of the Lords of Villafañe and the original cobblestone floors.
