Detroit boutique hotel with a courtyard fireplace and beer garden, featuring a contemporary, industrial-chic atmosphere
This boutique hotel in Corktown is a must. The owners went to great lengths to offer a "Detroit-style" experience. There is a beautiful mural by artist Don Kilpatrick and some verses by poet David Blair, both from Detroit, and much of the hotel's furniture was created by Michigan artisans. In terms of décor, we opted for an atmosphere that is both contemporary and industrial-chic, and it was a success! There is also a courtyard with a fireplace and a beer garden where local music groups perform during the summer months.
