Listed on the National Historic Landmark Registry in 1971, this concert hall is home to the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Opened in 1919, many jazz stars have also performed here, including Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday. Today, both classical and jazz concerts are given regularly, under the direction of the renowned conductor Jader Bignamini. You can also find out about concerts for young audiences.
