Open since 2014, UFO Factory was a highly-regarded show bar in Detroit, first located in Eastern Market and then in Corktown. In June 2024, its closure caused quite a stir in the city, but never mind, the team behind Spot Lite Detroit bought back the bar in order to preserve this mythical address. The concept of this underground venue remains unchanged, retaining its underground artistic and musical programming, its gourmet hotdogs (now under the management of Gladys Nite, Spot Lite's food truck) and its record store. A must-see!
