The first distillery to be licensed in Detroit since Prohibition, Two James is located in an old red-brick warehouse in Corktown. Some 15 spirits (gin, whisky, bourbon, rum, vodka, absinthe and coffee liqueur) are distilled here in small batches using locally grown produce. A tasting room, which doubles as a bar, allows visitors to discover the company's nectars in a rather industrial-chic atmosphere. Guided tours available on site for a fee. Other branch in Grand Rapids.
