The Red Hook is the cool little neighborhood café in the West Village. You'll find caffeinated nectars prepared according to the rules of the art, as well as teas - including their succulent chai tea - hot chocolates, breakfast sandwiches and all sorts of little sweets to go with it all. It's a trendy place, just right for this gentrifying area. There are other branches in Detroit, including the most recent in Midtown on Woodward Avenue, as well as a wine boutique, The Wine Side.
