It's one of the biggest electronic music events in the world, featuring, of course, the biggest names in Detroit techno.
Created in 2000, it's one of the most important international gatherings on the electronic music scene. Not surprising, given that Detroit is the birthplace of techno music. It's held every year over the Memorial Day weekend (Saturday to Monday inclusive), and numerous pre and after parties are also organized throughout the city. The atmosphere on the Hart Plaza outdoor site is downright electrifying, and the line-up of weekend artists attracts crowds from all over the world. A must if you love electro!
