This rococo church is one of the jewels of the baroque period. It owes its architecture and ornaments to the collaboration of two great masters in the field of art : Johann Baptist (1680-1758) and Dominikus Zimmermann (1685-1766) who built it in the 1730 s. It is known for having caused the greatest budget overrun of the time but above all to be the most beautiful village church in the world!
