ADIYOGI SHIVA
Large black statue of the bust of Shiva, 34 m high and 45 m wide, located in the Isha Foundation complex
Inaugurated by India's Prime Minister Ravendra Modi on February 24, 2017, this imposing black statue of Shiva's bust, the Adiyogi (the first yogi), is more than 34 meters high and 45 meters long. It is located in the Isha Foundation complex, the complex and ashram of the famous Sadhguru. It is the largest bust statue in the world. The height of the monument (34 meters, or 112 feet in the imperial system of measurement) symbolizes the 112 ways to attain moksha (liberation). A real curiosity.
