The Arava region is crossed by the former nabataean road of the caravans that carried perfumes and spices from the peninsula to the port of Gaza, on the Mediterranean. Along this track, classified as a world heritage by UNESCO in 2005 (under the only name of Incense Route - Route Route), we found numerous camps where the latter were stopping to spend the night: water reservoirs, water rooms, tower towers, places of worship and slopes marked with stones. Walking, jeep or bicycle tours can be arranged along this road.
