A campsite offering homemade food and walks, close to Gadji on the Isle of Pines.

Not far from Gadji, this campsite has been installed in a natural setting. The owner, Marie-Odile Vakoumé is a former teacher. It offers walks in the forest and at the seaside, as well as home-made meals, with vegetable vegetables and local products. However, you will need to order your meal two days before arrival.

After our mishap in Jacques and Rose-Marie (see this accommodation), we found ourselves at camping of marie Odile. You will be greeted by a small completely adorable damme, in an idyllic setting. You can admire them crystalline bay crabs or countless crabs walk if the low tide, with 3 pas de your tent!

marie Odile will tell you the local legends, or the day when it learned that the Koh-Lanta issue was shot on a small island, it asked to its nephews go fishing and that it prepared lobster for all team!

In the morning, you will be awakened by the countless birds sing in the coconut trees, bougainvillea and other banana trees and you can indulge in a freshly fallen coconut.

The condition in this campsite is equipped with a means of transport. Camping is indeed very isolated (at the end of the road of Gadji, then a forest path, then another small barely available way!) and Marie-Odile does not have a shuttle activities of the island. Another point also, even if it offers tents, take your rather, tents have been deteriorated by not very meticulous campers and you need to be a little Mac Gyver to climb a tent with the remains of 3 other tents!

Except the latter point, this idyllic campsite is recommended for those who wish to be quiet, the tourist uproar and in a place near the paradise!
