Here's an association that can come in very handy. La Clé de Contact is a long-established car-sharing center in Dijon. Subsidized by the City of Dijon and the Côte-d'Or General Council, it organizes trips between Dijon and other towns in the region, as well as to Paris and Montpellier. The principle is simple: you join and the association puts you in touch with people with whom you could travel. Passengers pay drivers 7 euro cents per kilometer. Trips can be local or national.
